Original (2012) turf saver tires were dry rotted and not holding air. The turf savers were bad about slipping and really tore up the grass. After looking on some lawn forums I decided to forgo the turf saver tires for Carlisle super lug tires.
Preliminary ride, they don't slip and if you don't turn at absolute minimum radius, it does not tear up the grass.
Old tire.

Those are pretty gnarly. I have bar tires the 316 at the cabin.

They also have an industrial R4 tire that is sort of a hybrid.

I’d be worried they’d rut up the yard mowing weekly if it’s damp. I have them on a Wheelhorse lawn tractor but it doesn’t get used often.

The city to the north of us has a few larger zero turns with this style of tire on them. I’m sure they’ll do great for your needs.

I’ve considered something like this or a more all terrain looking alternative for mine.

I have a pair on the John Deere LX188, I have a lot of clay on my property. They make a big difference for me especially when towing the lawn roller in the spring or the wagon full of firewood in the fall if the ground is wet.

I went with a similar tire on my big Toro ZTR. I mow everything from turf to ditches and yes those tires work well. Take your time when turning on your "nice" turf and they will work great.

I put a pair of similar tires on my Deere 757. My yard is steep and the mower would struggle to run straight without slipping sideways on the hills. They worked great

Follow up. I mowed today, tires worked great. No slipping when backing up. The other side benefit, after aerating, the plugs would fill up the turf saver treads and turn it into a slick, that would spin and damage the grass. The tire does not hold plugs and does not slip.

No damage to the yard turning as i do not truly zero turn it. With the turf savers, they would slip on moderate turns when the treads were full of plugs, they would even slip as you slowed down, skidding the grass. No more!

I have to check front to rear deck height tomorrow.
