For a Nissan CVT. A Nissan screen is $35 so I got this AC Delco screen for a Chevy that uses the same Jatco transmission for $20. Any issues using it with the inlet slightly different?

Does that inlet line up with a housing above it?? What does the other side of the screen look like on both?
Other side looks the same. Wouldn't use it if all the bolt holes didn't line up.
That inlet faces down into the pan. Doesn't line up to anything specific. The other side has the tube going into the transmission.
Is this for a vehicle you are flipping? I probably wouldn't use that, but that's just me.
Could be a design change. I'd presume the replacement part is the revised design if this is the case unless the vehicle has had its screen already replaced and the aftermarket one is an older design.

Well, on the old one the pan has a big dent in it so the screen may be deformed.
Hard to tell, but it looks like the new one is positioned more centrally, slightly larger inlet, and slightly lower into the pan(?). Those would all be positives in my book, probably running improvements. Plus, it's AC Delco so my trust index is high. Run it.
The CVT in the Nissan might have a different orientation / inclination angle of the CVT case versus the Chevy installation. I would not use the Chevy filter in the Nissan.
I would use the correct screen. You don't wanna be wrong...
