I have not ridden one of the late-model Bonnies, but I would like to. Very nice looking bikes! Thanks for the tip on the forum.nice ride! being older + a smaller guy i prefer the bonneville line + have a 19 street scram + 18 T120. i have a good dealer Hermys in port clinton. pa BUT do my own work for enjoyment + savings, Triumph Rat is a great forum with many members!
Thank you! Mine is a 1600.Congrat’s! The T-Birds are beautiful. Is it the 1600 or 1700?
I think sign of the times, almost all metric big cruisers have shut down that aspect of the big cruiser business, too many games and not enough players, less interest and the USA used to be the big cruiser market for themI did a demo ride on the T-Bird and absolutely loved it.
I wonder why Triumph discontinued these?
I may be wrong, but the pricing of the bikes has really gotten up there, which is a deterrent for new riders to be brought in. For example, about a month ago I was at a Harley dealer, they were adding $7k to MSRP on a Street Bob, so a bike that is about $14k MSRP, was now $21k before taxes/fees. Road Kings would be about $30k +. I love my Road King, and I love motorcycling, but I am not spending that to ride on two wheels.I think sign of the times, almost all metric big cruisers have shut down that aspect of the big cruiser business, too many games and not enough players, less interest and the USA used to be the big cruiser market for them
