Just put Michelin Defender LTX tires and Bilstein 4600s on my 2020 Silverado, and it's like driving a brand new truck. I hated the Rancho OEM shocks. Definitely a huge upgrade!

I had some Rancho 9000's on a 2002 Ranger Blew 4 in 10000 miles.. (front shocks twice)

in their defense it did have a winch on the front.. but sheesh.

Getting Bilsteins for Mrs K2's 2020 Wrangler...the OEM shocks are leaking at 91k miles and are starting to cup the tires...

Many years back a friend put Rancho on his newish Toyota 4 Runner....road incredibly harshly. Way too much compression damping. He ditched them in less than a month to Bilstein and it was night and day difference. Still firm, but way just enough less compression damping to give very nice, controlled road manners.

I have 280k miles on the Bilsteins on my 402k mile Tundra and they still work great, no leaks and great ride. Pretty amazing.

Monotubes rock! For anyone who can’t spring for the Bilsteins, I’ve never regretted the Gabriel Max Control Mono’s I got from RockAuto. I’ll never go back to twin tube, and yes I know twin tubes CAN be good as well sometimes.

Good shocks are worth the money. I've had many cheap ones bust within weeks of putting them on. I'm not sure of the brand on the front of my truck but I'm running Gabriel air shocks on the back with a 3" lift shackle and they are holding up good after five years.

I really like the durability of my Gabriels from rock auto and AutoZone. I have them on my camper van and they have got to be over 10 years now and Gabriels on my 1990 Ford Ranger XLT. They hold up and make good controlled ride. I have Bilstein on a motor home and they ride excellent too. I really can't complain about the Monroes on my 07 Ram 1500 that I tow our small 5th wheel trailer with either. Our truck has the leaf spring rear suspension.

I really like Bilsteins. They are on the 4R and the 5.0. Put them on my last truck, too.

Michelin Defenders are my go-to tire, have them on both Caddy’s and about to put a set on my CRV

Always happy w Bilsteins. Had multiple trucks in the past w the 4600s and / or 5100s and never disappointed. Good performance and price for my needs
