I’m surprised Tesla chose a smallish town of 117,000 residents, High Point, N.C. They repurposed a large former grocery store and is the 3rd one to open in N.C. behind Charlotte and Raleigh. They had about a dozen cars and chargers outside. I’m hoping they sell a gazillion cars!

Can customers take delivery of new cars in that location? Due to state franchise laws in Utah-Tesla can only sell used cars.New ones have to be delivered out of state. Mostly in Nevada.

Political protectionism at its finest.

I am no EV or Tesla fan, but they should be able to sell there legal product where they want, how they want.

High point makes sense - Greensboro / Winston area. 3rd largest MSA in NC I assume?
I’m not surprised that the triad got a Tesla dealership, I’m surprised High Point was chosen over Greensboro or Winston Salem. They typically get the plums in the triad area.

Tesla opened a new outlet in Langford BC, near the area's Costco and just outside Victoria BC about a year ago. It looks like a mostly repair and maintenance facility. Nice building but I haven't had to investigate it yet.

Tesla also opened 16 new chargers in the last few days right after the ferry to Vancouver Island from Tsawwassen (ie from Vancouver). There's no moss growing on their shoes.

It's on the list. But they call it "Greensboro".

When my dad got his, he was hoping that he could take delivery at a service center, but apparently they don't do that. I thought that it might be possible to get a Tesla delivered.

I was at Uptown mall in Victoria today and was surprised to see they now have 16 superchargers. It used to be 2 last time I looked.

Shortly after we bought our Tesla we wanted to try out the Victoria Uptown mall charging site to see how charging worked at a Supercharger. We had a lot of trouble finding it. Our Tesla GPS kept telling us to look to our right as we drove past the mall entrance. The mall entrance was on our left. So we went around the block a couple of times looking for it, before going into the mall parkade. And then it told us we were "at the Supercharger" when we were just above or just below it but on a different floor. We eventually found it but it wasn't a very encouraging experience.

That's the only Supercharger we've ever had trouble finding. But it worked with no fuss whatsoever when we finally found it.
