Not really new. It's simply an Enhanced Synthetic Vision (ESV) system.

Rockwell Collins (now Collins Aerospace) and Honeywell and other firms have equivalent systems as options for business aircraft.

I worked on ESV from 2010-2012.

I'd seen headsets like that before, but none that showed that level of detail in a smallish form-factor. These seemed more directed at GA ops.

Synthetic vision in a small visor instead of a HUD or cockpit display. Not quite up to an F-35 Helmet mounted display, but a cool bit of technology - I didn’t see the cost in the video - but since it is displaying inertial reference information (velocity vector) it’s not going to be a simple retrofit.
