I have several Echo 2 strokes. Hedge trimmer, trimmer and a big backpack blower.
I've been using red armor all last season. Since they are all fairly new the only difference I've noticed is I think I get better fuel economy with the red armor. I was using the echo semi- syn oil before that, at 50:1, and it seems my backpack blower went thru much more mix at full throttle blowing leaves than with the red armor at 50:1.
I looked in the spark plug hole to see if the top of the piston was cleaner, but it looked the same...... Black but no carbon buildup

I use 2% mix in Everything even older stuff that says 5% and
i´ve never had an 2 stroke sieze because of oil problems.
My snow mobiles wich have oil injection uses 2% right from the factory and if we whant to find a highly loaded two stroke- look at a snowmibile Engine.

I have ran echo red armor for 2 years now and it does quite well in my echo srm 280s and pb 770 no carbon at all no exhaust screen plugging either.
I was using stihl ultra but this oil is so much better it has less smell and a lower price it is also jaso fd rated as stihl ultra is only jaso FB.
