New Sumitomos...

Sumitomo Touring LST...replacing the HTR T4s....

Your thoughts? Upped the warranty, I see. My Balt has the T4s, which are doing much better than I thought at nearly 20k..I think I may get 70k out of them...and they still handle well!

I had Sumitomo once long time ago, I bought it for low price. I wasn't impress and didn't try another. In general, Sumitomo doesn't any excellent tire in any category, they are okay tire at lower price than others.

I have these. They have been good so far. Nothing unusual about them in terms of noise etc. Had them only about a year so cannot comment on how well they age.

I had wonderful luck with Sumito HTR ZIII. Incredible Max performance summer tire for the price even against more expensive ones.

Seems like tires are hit or miss. I plan on going back to this brand when local tire place has buy 3 get one free sale for the UHP AS version Sumitomo sells.

The only brand that still offers the OE size for my vehicle, but I opted for the Michelin instead this time since the size is becoming more obsolete.

I'd say somewhat of a Goodyear not quite Michelin, Japanese relative.

I noticed that, that they went from china (T4s) to Japan....kinda odd..

Sumitomo Rubber Group makes Sumitomo and Falken tires, definitely a Japanese company.

Intesting, since my Sumis are wearing well, while falkens wear if you stand there and watch...
