Like the Walther Match Q5, 1911 or Hi Power I think people enjoy the nostalgic feel. Kinda like the old guys and revolvers; they simply like it simple. If you grew up doing the same routine,same pattern, same everything then it's likely that the OP is doing such.

For those who haven't had the chance to use a shield plus trigger yet (same if not very similar in function to this one). It is a drastic improvement and made it my favorite for shooting and carry
1911 Colt Combat Commander 45 ACP ... all stainless steel.
Same as which trigger? I don't see it.
I have APEX triggers in all of my MP'S.
It sure is. It will blow out two lungs at once, and the bullets go five times as fast as normal bullets.
