OK, car is a 1992 Nissan 240sx w/ KA24DE engine. Over 220,000 miles on engine/chassis. I recently bought a replacement radiator, a 3-row Koyo all-aluminum. I have a few questions before I install it.
What exactly should I replace along with the radiator itself? I will definitely get new hoses and thermostat.
My car calls for standard ehtylene glycol coolant. That is what is in there right now. It is rather fresh, but I want to flush my whole system before I install the new radiator. Would it be smart to use one of these radiator flushes?
Also, would there be any reason to switch to a different type of coolant?
