I have a question. Been thinking about trading in my 03 Mustang GT on a new 2005-06, so I took one for a ride. Anyways car is better in every way, performance, handling, interior it is just a better car all around.
After a quick drive around the block, I get out of the car and the salesman says come look at the trunk space. As I am going to the rear I notice the left exhaust pipe has smoke coming out of it. I can also notice a very strong smell of burning oil. This is after the engine has been shut down. We were at the back of the car for about 5 minutes and the whole time you could see small amount of smoke coming out. When I went to the front to look under the hood I also noticed a pretty good oil leak on the intake manifold. It looked like someone tried to wipe it away, but only made it worse by smearing it everywear.
Any how just wondering if you guys Know what would make a brand new engine smoke like that after shutdown?
