Actually G-Man II designed that along with the entire main page:

Then a member suggested that we get rid of the Classic UBB logo and put the BITOG one in its place. Our Admin wwilson did that part using the logo from the main page.

I thought it was a good job by all that worked on it and suggested it.

I saw it for the first time tonight, and the script reminds me of the lettering on fiftys era cars.

yeah, there are a couple of fonts like that. One is called "Fridgedaire" I believe.
