Just remember the Kohler on those Wheel Horse tractors is a totally different engine than what you have. I have a new John Deere with a Kohler Command and it is not the engine the old cast iron ones were. An old 10hp cast iron would do the work of my new 16hp.

Yes those old cast iron Kohlers are a tough act to follow.
And quite a reputation has been built on their performance.
This does not diminish the impression I have perceived from their modern offerings however.
