DTD doesn't have this tire listed in the size I need (205 50 R16). I know they make this tire in the size I need because Tire Rack has them. I guess I should just call or visit Discount Tire to see what's up?

On the LegacyGT.com a lot of owners are installing these and very happy with performance.

Nice to see a reasonable price low profile tire that performs well and is not Made in China.

How do you like them, after a year of ownership?

They're OK. Just OK. I've got about 25k on them. They are still fairly sticky in the dry, but they are getting pretty squirrelly in the wet. So much so, that I'm looking at tires again; I'm not going to push these all the way to the end of their life.

I will probably go back to the Goodyear Eagle GT.

@cPayne5 : if you liked the eagle gts , try the new eagle f1 asymmetric all season. They are a pretty decent upgrade from the gts and have an 80$ rebate on them right now too. And they are quieter than the gts .

Your experience confirms what I have read elsewhere, that these tires wear out fairly quickly, like a performance summer tire.

Have they gotten noisier with the accumulated mileage?

My coworker just bought a set of these for his 04 Jetta wagon 1.8t. It's sitting in our server closet, making that whole area smell like a Pep Boys. He's going to put them on after he comes back from Germany, next week and a half.

I have not noticed any increased noise as they've aged. I have kept up the rotations.

Thanks for the tip. Seems Goodyear does not produce them in my car's size, unfortunately.

I have a set of 4x's on my forester now. Only comparing to the oem yoko g95a's

these are better in every way except ride comfort(duh) and MPG.

and mine also have a tiny bit of flat-spotting overnight.

I'm very picky about tires and even I'll say its not bad.

The traction is amazing. The wet traction makes the oem tires look bad.

So far I'm estimating about 5% mpg loss

its hard to tell with variable driving and fall weather coming on ie 45 in the morning vs 75 going to work

on my new kumhos? not many.
I just got them, and at the price I paid they are a steal.
triple rebate w/pricematch

I'll be using them for 3 season use anyway. I just wanted all-season for the seasonal changeover period

ie. when its 28 out in morning and 55F out in afternoon.

They wont be getting heavy snow use unless we get a freak early november snow storm.

I have some blizzack ws-70's on steelies that will go on sometime early/mid december to march-april.

They look worn out. Will you be taking advantage of Kumho's 40,000 mile warranty on these tires?

I just put a set of 4x's on my Elantra. Rides much better but haven't test in rain or snow yet. TireRack has a $50 rebate deal now, which will perfectly cover your shipping cost.
