2008 Chev Suburban 3/4 Ton 4x4, 172,000 miles. Time to start replacing the non engine parts. Driver’s side hub was making noise. Passenger side inner tie rod end had play. New hubs and tie rod ends on both sides and wheel alignment.

Maintaining a vehicle is more than oil changes. Most people wait for something to go wrong. Jiffy Lube is not going to tell you your tie rod is loose. An indy mechanic who changes your oil and gives it a quick once over will pick up those kind of things however.
Getting tires rotated may also do that. The tire stores want to up-sell some brake or suspension work, so they will check the brakes and front end.
