New hood paint buff marks polish before clear bra?

I have some buff marks, so I need to do anything before clear bra? Will you see the swirls under the bra?

You should polish out the buff marks. Yes, you will see them under the clear bra. If you have a polish without wax or a protectant in it, that should work fine.

I'm getting a clear bra installed next week and I plan on clay barring the cr*p out of my hood and fenders beforehand, plus using 3M's Fine Cut immediately afterward.

Insulator wax would seem to be a total waste of $$ as the installer said he uses alcohol to rub down the surface before installing the film.

I'd probably do a dawn wash after hitting it with product.
