New headlight restoration method?

I just did mine the old school way, but this guy claims success with this method. Definitely easier than the usual sandpaper-compound-polish-sealer method. I wonder if it is truly just as long lasting. But if it is, then could be a great quick hack for many.



P.S. I did try Mother's Metal & Aluminum polish by itself on headlights. It worked great, but only for 2 months, and then the headlights were going back to yellow haze all over. Hopefully the "ceramic embedding" method (as he calls it) actually does help with longevity of the result.

Never been a fan of sweet project cars, but it can't hurt to polish with the ceramic as a wetter. I'd think there wouldn't be much benefit in the compounding stage.
