Thanks! You're right it's certainly not a common path. I did engineering as a path to becoming a patent attorney. Engineering or some such science degree is a prerequisite to sitting for the patent bar exam (a different bar exam one must take in addition to the usual bar exam.

Appreciate the warm welcome from a fellow painter/chipper. I was stationed NBSD.
