My son is now the owner of my old grease gun I’ve had for 30 years. So I bought a new one
It’s a Lincoln / SKF Brand
Made in India and Germany

Speaking of grease I had a zerk go bad last fall on my John Deere lawn tractor (was an aftermarket part) anyway, went to parts store in town and the owner picked out the match, looked perfect..threw the old zerk in his garbage went home and the new zerk didn't fit..what a mess had to drive back buy 3 others, wasted hours.

**** !!!!!

That’s a badass rig !!
Absolutely. Once you get one of those you will never go back to the manual one. Especially since my dad owns a 18 wheeler so every few weeks I grease his truck from front to back. Holds a change forever it seems. I charge the batteries about every other month.

Isn’t that kind of thing the worst?!? So frustrating!

Helpful tip-- to get the most life out of the batteries, keep them around 50-60% capacity while in storage and charge before use if you can. Lithium ion batteries degrade much faster if kept at full charge. Difficult to do if there's no charge level indicator on them though.

I have a pneumatic gun which is a pain at times since you're tethered to an air line, but it works for me given 99% of my greasing is done in or near the garage. I'll have to look into one of those battery operated ones one day.
