Assuming some practicality, meaning no mountaintop estate in Central America or Blofeldesque Caribbean island;

UK or France, both interesting with mild climates, easy transition, thriving tech/defense industries assuming I'd have to make a living.
Argentina, great food and stunningly beautiful.
Maybe Australia, for the same reasons as the UK.

Re reading my post after more coffee....Let me clarify this, not an Epstein/HRH Prince Andrew type island, but one that would ban Pruis and make high beam and left lane violations capital crimes. Oh, and no Winter.

Hi Zee, Panama has been an expat destination for several years. You can go search and find many links to articles as to why. Cost of living, and available access to medical care are top reasons, along with climate. Like most folks, the older I get the more I am getting tired of the climate in the midwest. Frankly I would be happy if my future wardrobe only contained T-Shirts and shorts.

Lastly, I will respect your request about not getting political.
