Just got my first Costco membership in December, I've deliberately held off on acquiring the CC because of the switch to Visa, this makes it even better!

This is great! When you pay your bill off every month this is where you can actually EARN MONEY with credit.

2% on costco purchases is great but theres a better deal during Q2 for those with the Chase Freedom Visa. Starting Apr 1, get 5% cashback for warehouse club purchases.

This should work for purchases of Costco cashcards from Costco.com.

2% on the credit card + 2% on the Executive membership is a nice savings on top of already good values!

If you lost your Costco cashcards can you get a replacement card from Costco ? Or it is like cash, you lost it you lost everything ?

Costco in Canada changed from Amex to Capitol One MasterCard last year.

It has dividends but it's not the best card out there.

Still a lot more useful than the Amex, which was all but usless outside Costco.

I got gas there today and saw signs up that June 20 is when they will start accepting only Visa as far as credit cards go. I bet they will accept Visa starting in April or May sometime, and there will be a month or two where they will accept both Visa and American Express.

Must be different than in the US. Don't see many places that don't take Visa/MC/Discover/Amex.

Try to used my Visa at Costco today,they will not accept Visa until after 6/16/2016.

Members with Costco cards from American Express will automatically receive new Visa credit cards from Citibank to replace their cards.

• Cardholders will not need to apply for the new credit card.
