they usually go for around 120$

I prefer the corsair 650D.

to OP: seems like a decent build, I would have probably bumped up the video card one notch to a 760 to match the relative power of the rest of the build.

the 750 is lower end of mainstream, in most benchmarks its about equal to my 4 year old nvidia 460 1gb hawk edition.

the 760 has 2x the memory bandwidth and is upper tier mainstream graphics card. (770 is start of enthusiast graphics cards IMO)

Interesting choice on the gpu. I use a 760 in my build, and I threw a 750 noon ti in my grandfather's temporarily for my sibLings until we have the rest of our household goods back, including their desktops. It does a decent job but I'd have gone for the 760 at least myself for my personal build. Otherwise good choices on parts. Not a big fan of samsung ssds mainly due to the TLC NAND but that's honestly that isn't that big a concern

ouch! forgot about the canada tax.

That would be about 900$-1050 here + windows
USD.

and to clarify I wasnt saying the 750ti is a bad card but the rest of the computer is significantly faster than that card... Which lost in some benchmarks to my 2010 460 1gb hawk edition.

It is a good performance per watt card.
