So I've had my GV250V for about 4 or 5 months, and took a 500 trip on it, and decided that if I'm going to do that often, I need a bigger bike. Since it's tax season, plus yearly bonus time at work, plus conveniently a 3 paycheck month in March, I traded it in on a Vulcan 900. Took some getting used to at first, being larger and heavier, but now that I've gotten the hang of it, I can't see how I managed to ride 500 miles on the GV. My wife, on the other hand, still has hers and thinks it's just about perfect, however she is only 5'3 and I am 6'1. I've seen multiple accounts of these bikes going 100k+ with basic maintenance so I hope I'll be holding onto this one for a long time. Got a Mustang seat coming because the stock one really doesn't agree with my rear end.

(Yes, this beautiful shot was taken in the middle of winter :P)

Congrats on the new bike...you couldn't have gone wrong with any metric in terms of reliability...they are simply the best made...with normal maintenance this bike should easily go 100K miles...enjoy!
