What a blessing you have been given. After each one on my kids were born I always went to the hospital chapel to write in the log that my baby is healthy. After all the bad news that gets posted in the hospital log I figure that would make the Pastors day...and mine too.

Thank you all for the comments, I never imagined how life changing a child can be(more so than I would have figured). Priorities and focus get shifted and you just want to do anything and everything for them. I have to say for the first time in a long time I cried seeing him born, and it takes a lot to make me cry.

=)

I didn't buy her a push present, I don't believe in all these "new" reasons to give gifts/spend money given we already(US) have a holiday per month, and 3 or 4 of the months are gift giving months on top of birthdays lol(crazy right?)

Come Valentines Day and Mothers Day next year she will get her rewards. Honestly, I could just say the Impreza is her push present since I signed the papers and put the deposit down on it lol, but she did a great job, I still have her giving the last final push, the look on her face and the agony and pain has forever been imprinted in my mind. I have to say that I don't think I could do that if roles were reversed. She did great, and I keep telling her that day in and day out

Hehe, first car will be something older, but reliable and will teach him the basics on maintenance. My first car was a Wrangler, not sure what he'll get, and not sure what will be considered good and reliable in 17 years, might have flying cars powered by garbage(Back to the Future) :P

CONGRATS! Our son is 19months old now. Everyone would tell me you will enjoy him more as he gets older. I kept thinking no way I love him right now when he is so small but its true, as they get older you will be amazed at what they learn and the things they will do. Especially when it comes to rough housing around. If we are watching tv for to long he grabs our shoes and puts them in front of us. Then he points at the door and says "bye". In other words "get the [censored] up and lets go play!"LOL
I can never understand how some can mistreat their kids. They are such a blessing.
