Here is the definition of stage 4 CAD.
I ended up getting a super ugly medium - high hour one locally a while back, and ended up liking it so much decided to get a brand new one before they are completely nla.
Robin Wood has some Sweden models left and I decided not to wait any longer before they were completely NLA.
While I am thrilled to have been able to aquire one, there are some differences right off the bat. The overseas model ships with a pipe outlet muffler without the reinforcement bar and minus the spark arrestor screen. It also has the Gilardoni cylinder VS the Mahle offered back in the days we had them. Looking thru exhaust port it has the one ring piston. Last thing I noticed is there is no safety verbiage sticker or EPA sticker on the tops cover.
The Mahle vs Gilardoni OEM cylinder debate is a bone of contention among many but in the end both are excellent. The chrome plating on both are top notch, however visually the Gilardoni castings are more rough cosmetically. This translates to slightly more power in stock form, not enough to notice. The marbled / rough surface agruably helps with the intake and transfer ports. Both Mahle and Gilardoni port well unlike the crappy aftermarket cylinders.
Started right up, but man o man is this thing tight. It needs to break in quite a bit. Even the bar and chain is super stiff. I am keeping the tune quite rich for safety.
