I have been trying to download the free trial version today.
I had it a month or so ago, but need it again.
The problem is that every time I try, it comes up with a serial number that is expired so it won't work.
And when I click on the button that says how to find a new serial number, it says to look on the case the disc came in. It's an internet download, there is no disc, there never was when I had it before.
Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks.

Betcha' there's some code in the registry that doesn't uninstall. Nero wants you to buy the program, not keep downloading the trial version.

You can try other programs and there are freebie open-source programs.

Google for serials, I'm sure someone has posted a valid registration code somewhere.

You can't run the trial more than once. There is information in the registry that tells Nero that you already used up your trial period and won't let you try it again. Now it's time to actually buy it. Otherwise, you could be going on trials forever. That is not what Nero wants.

Here's Nero 6 for 5 bucks. I don't like Nero 7 because it's turned into bloatware. 6 will do you just fine.

CDBurnerXP Pro 3 seems to be a decent piece of freeware.

I too have used CDBurnerXP Pro which is a free program.

You can find it doing a search.

If you know what you're doing, you could always edit the registry and reset the trial period.
