Non - issue for me. 5 or so years ago the 2 yr old GE dishwasher burnt a motherboard that was buried inside the door. That board was well over $150 bucks. Installed it, ran it once, and unplugged it. Will be working when we sell the house. Now, nobody uses the dishwasher. Back to old school. Do dishes in the sink. As for you're skid plate, some brake cleaner and shops rags will clean it up. It's just gonna get filthy again anyway. Don't go crazy trying to make it shine like new.
Perfect opportunity to get an ultrasonic cleaner.
I wish mine was big enough to hold a skid plate!
It's a skid plate. It should be muddy, scraped up maybe a rattle can if they annoy you.
