Anyone know of a filter that is shorter and fatter that the OEM Hyundai filter? Say 1/2" shorter and 1/2 or more wider?

Hyundai specs.

26300-35503

Gasket I.D.2.13"
Gasket O.D.2.42"
Gasket Thickness.2"
Height3.08"
O.D.3.02"
I.D.20mmx1.5mm
Relief Valve Setting PSI 20

So I was crossing this filter over. It fits the 1983 and earlier Renaults. Mobil 1 filter lookup shows a Champ PH2814 filter instead of the M1. Any info on them? Seems to be a common size for southern European cars.

I added a Ford oil/coolant heat exchanger and it dropped the filter about 3". Currently I have a remote filter but the fittings on the adapter sit below the oil pan level. I would like to get rid of the remote filter.

You can use the Donaldson filter site; it has a nice attribute search feature where you can narrow results by your desired criteria, such as diameter, thread pitch, efficiency, etc. You are going to want to start with "lube filters" and then drill down from there ...

Once you get their suggested filters, you can use their filter, or xfer those to any brand on another site.
