Actually makes me wonder... Don't seatbelts age out, due to UV exposure? A quick look didn't reveal much about that issue, so maybe not. That said, any seatbelt (that was in use) after a crash ought to be replaced--they are designed to stretch a small amount, and thus are one-time use items. I wouldn't want to pull a belt from a wreck; and I wouldn't want to pull a belt from a vehicle which might have been wrecked & then rebuilt--but didn't have the belts replace ("Oh they looked fine to me!").
