Need help.: what color is AUTO RX?

I just changed my oil and added ARX (second application) As I was pouring it down I noticed that the color is very dark brown and opaque!
It was pouring like lose jelly not like oil. I touched it and it felt as if there is sand (gritty) in the additive!

I dont recall the texture or color of ARX when I added during first application!

I kept the empty bottle in case ARX wants analyze it.

Does ARX has a short shelf life? Does it change property during short time?

I am afraid the content of bottle could have been tempered with or was filled up with wrong fluid.
 
The color and texture of Rx is akin to what a prune would look like if you put it in a blender for a minute.Franks website says to warm Rx in hot water for a short time to ease the flow characteristics.I always put it in a coffee can of hot tap water before I start my oil changes.Efforts to make Rx more homogenous are ongoing.
Once distributed into the host oil,Rx takes on the characteristics of the host oil.No evidence remains of it's starting properties exsist during use.

Auto-Rx if kept in cold climate should be run under hot water for 10 miutes or so. You do this to insure pourability,Auto-Rx takes on characteristics of your oil after applied. (remember oil is just a carrier)

Auto-Rx has no effect on oil viscosity. Toronto is cold this time of year and natural ingredients in Auto-Rx jelled. This is not a problem as oil temp goes up Auto-Rx becomes same viscosity and all the benefits of Auto-Rx remain,natural ingredients don't have any substances to artificially thin out product.
 
Yes it will work normally, if added cold. The gritty feel that you experience is lanolin ester crystals. They are extemely soft. If you were to gently rub your finger tips together with any of these crystal, in between. They would quickly dissolve just under the mild heat and pressure generated between your fingure tips. One the lanolin esters are dissolved into the host oil inh your motor, you'll not find them again.
