That looks like a standard frame size. AC fans are no longer common, there will be a lot more choices in DC. Then add a suitable DC power supply to the machine. Make it large enough for additional fans so you can convert them over to DC as they fail.

It has 3 phase 440v and a giant transformer.
how it gets from that to 100v ac... well electrical engineer I am not.
It is off of either...
a mid 90's Mitsubishi dwc-110HA(iirc)
or late 80's dwc-90c

Not doing any of that. not my call. I've seen several that might work but I am waiting on detailed dimensions.

I can't find any official website for tobishi and so I think Ikura is now the manufacturer.

They have an online store in Japan so I emailed them to get a quote - see if it's significantly cheaper than $400 or not.
