This is for my 92 Subaru legacy non turbo. The factory muffler thats on it is falling apart. I would like to install a free flowing muffler thats not too loud close to stock as possible (sound wise) any suggestions? what I have in mind is a big straight through muffler.

I recommend you try a dynomax super turbo muffler
. The super turbo will give you a mellow tone but they are not loud and they flow better than your stock muffler

Straight through mufflers flow the best, no doubt. They are generally noisier, though. Larger mufflers of any configuration are quieter. So get the biggest straight through that will fit, and get the best of both worlds.
