Just moved to Hermitage TN and did not take my tools with me. I have a 2021 CX-5 Turbo that needs to spark plugs. I have the plugs just trying to find someone to install. I called a local shop and they will not install custom purchased parts. I could do it myself but that would mean buying the needed tools and I'm not ready to go the route. Any suggestions on a local mechanic that might help?

Mark's Automotive Repair Center in Old Hickory gets good reviews. But they're probably like most places which won't install customer supplied parts..
Most shops wont install customer provided parts but you know that. You can buy a few tools and have money leftover for what the average Joe will charge you. If you have experience most can get away without using a torque wrench.
Mark's was the first place I called.
Not as straight forward with the turbo. plugs are covered up by other components that need to be removed. The non-turbo is easy peezy
As someone who owned quite a few subarus I'd still say EZ, but you are right there are a few bolt ons with the turbo.. its not hyundai elantra easy
Should still be a 30min job with a $99 craftsman set and a spark plug socket.
unlike subaru... No need to jack the engine up and remove engine mounts to access the plugs
You could just call that shop back and have them order the plugs you want installed.
I think you'll have to go to work with locals. Maybe a local church if you're into that. Or local Jeep clubs. You likely need an indy one-man hack like myself.

But yeah, you might be better off to return four plugs (or eat the cost) and just go the mainstream route.
