I bought 4 cases ( of 12 quarts ) of the NAPA synthetic oil for $ 3.49 a quart . Man at the NAPA store said it is made by Valvoline , for what that may or may not be worth .

This is cheaper than buying it in 5 quart jugs .

I have quite a few filters bought up & put back .

You missed the $2.99/qt sale they last year. I picked up 4 cases of synthetic 5w20 and 30 from my local store.

Just got back from picking up a case of Napa full synthetic 0w20. $3.49/qt for 0w20 is hard to beat.

Mobil 1 oils currently on sale with $12 mfg rebate per jug. Works out to be $2.70/qt. at Walmart. Pennzoil Platinum on sale all year round with a $10 mfg rebate....$2.50/qt net from Walmart. No sense in paying $3.50/qt when major synthetics are on sale all throughout the year around $2.50-$2.70. And then you'll often find these same oils, and Valvoline Synpower on sale for $2.00/qt during the Autozone December clearance sales.

Last week at Walmart I noticed the Valvoline Synpower on Rollback at $22/jug. I'd probably buy that before paying $17.45/jug for Napa syn.

The heck with hassles of rebates.

NAPA Syn is usually on sale April, August & December. Last year it was 3.49 for the first two sales and 2.99 in December.

Hopefully it's 2.99 again this December also.

Heck with that, as my NAPA near me isn't a participating store. I snagged a 5quart jug of Mobil 1 0w30 and 1quart and a gallon of Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w40 for $15~ for 10quarts. I'll give my dad the $24 from both rebates.
