napa proselect taller than 21394?

im looking too buy a napa proselect, its a 98 corolla. idid search, and think a wix cross refference, was 51396. so a napa proselect, would be 21396.
what other oil filter sizes, are bigger than the 21394?

I think you can use the 27145

The 1396 has been replaced by the 7145

Toyotas use the 3/4-16 thread.

For a 4cyl Toyota, common upsizes are Toyotas V6/V8 or Ford's filter.

The gaskets are different sizes though, with the 1348/3614 and 1516/3600 having a larger gasket diameter than the 1396 and 7145.

Using a 21348/3614 or 21516/3600 on the OP's Corolla would only have 1mm of effective gasket, using only about 20% of it.
