Hi All:

Two years ago I got this NAPA ProSelect filter, a series 21348, from the NAPA store up in Lebec, CA. It was made in Mexico and is white in color. I think this will be the filter installed on The Beast at the next oil change. There are others in the stash, but this will be next. I know it has a good reputation. I reckon it can do about 7500 miles or so.

There are no marks on it to say when it was made, but I am guessing about five years ago. Does NAPA still make these or did they change the name? I am just curious.

Thanks.

By the way, anyone think this filter can go for 10,000 miles?

It is NOT an overside filter. It has the same dimensions as the Fram PH3614 which is the basal filter size for this car. If it were as long as a Fram PH3600 it would have more room in the filter media.

Napa still makes these. They did not change the name.

Yeah the first link is a Napa Gold but there are several Pro Selects cut on here. Seems like there were complaints about brittle/fragile media in the past but have not heard those lately.
