Hang in there with me, this is my first C&P.

NAPA Proformer 21348 off of a Briggs & Stratton 21 hp engine. 1 summer, approximately 50 hours run time.

Filter look pretty good overall. Glue was a little sloppy, but nothing of concern. Filter media looked very good. I could probably put double or triple the hours without any concern. Holes instead of louvers, did not have a leaf spring ADBV. Looks to be Premium Guard manufactured to me.

Back on went a WIX 51056, will have a C&P at the end of this mowing season. Plan to move on to a Champ PH400 XL or equivalent and extend filter change to every other season.

The metal bits and powder are all from using a sawzall to cut it open.

Thoughts?

Looks very good. Thank You sir.

Filter looks okay. Glue stayed put it appears. Can you wait until the leaf spring ruffles are fixed before buying the Champ? Several other brands to choose from that don't have that problem.

I will probably wait, thanks for the info. I might just start switching over to Premium Guard going forward. I have a parts plus near me that sells filters for $6-7.

Good idea, go check some out. Nothing like getting our paws & sights on a filter. Some may even want to sniff inside the hole to see how it ticks. 😅
