Is the Napa Gold filter an extended OCI filter? Ok to run to say 7,000 OCI on a clean engine?

Napa Gold 7k in a clean engine, no problem. In fact, just finished ~6100 using an NG1334 and decided to run it twice in a Civic. Confident it will easily handle it.

I'd take the Gold over the Platinum. So yes, it's a very good filter and will do fine at 7500...

Running one at 7000 OCI is more common than for less I would imagine. You could also use a Fram Ultra and take advantage of the extra features the Gold does not have.

Yes, Napa Gold is perfect for a 7k OCI.

Walk in the park, easily a 10k filter IMO in a clean engine.
Picked up a NAPA Gold for my F150 today. I have been using NG for about the last 6 years on and off.
Since when are they white? NG's have always been black.
I asked the counter guy to make sure I got the right filter. He said they are coming in White now. Part numbers match up so I'm sure I didn't get the wrong filter misplaced in the box.
If this is old news, sorry, the ones I've always gotten have been black.

I have seen them in both colors, I wonder if it has anything to do with origin?

The NG I used to get for the Dodge 3.7 was black and came shrink wrapped.
For the Ford 5.0L it is white and in a box.
What is inside is what's important.....but I agree, I like the back paint better

@Scum, Wix sells "master packs" of 12 oil filters; each is shrink wrapped and not individually boxed.
