If you do end up going by there just check the label on the filter before you purchase to see if it shows made in Vietnam or China instead of USA... also if you didn't know, you can go in any O'reilly's for Microgard Select, Autozone for STP Extended or Advance Auto for Carquest Premium and they should be pretty close to the same PG product as the Napa Gold.

Thanks for that. I'm a BIG made in USA guy and this part hurts to hear, but the fact is they need to improve significantly to keep up. I had to violate my rule about no auto parts from amazon, but here we are.
I was looking on PG's website for where to buy and came up with a couple websites, but nothing B&M. I know it's been mentioned before elsewhere, but could not remember where to go in person. Again - thank you.
I ended up swapping a CQ premium instead of the 7356 I had left. It was worth it imo and I’m g2g for a while now.
I did this because I don't want anything to otherwise adversely affect that engine. Not doing something knowing the likely defective nature of the existing product is to me negligent. To each his own, but @DannyM thanks for the needed nudge on where to source good products quick to remedy the situation.
