PG99495 C&P

On the cutter this afternoon is a filter we don’t see very often on BITOG - a PG99495.

Edit: actually, the very first one that’s been cut open here.

PG hasn’t offered the filter for very long, I think less than a year. There’s very few ACDelco PF66 alternatives on the market in comparison to others. I could just go with a CQP, NAPA Gold, or MGSL, but I just like to order bulk from RA. I’m hoping they’ll offer an extended performance/life version soon. I’ve emailed them a few times with no response.

This filter was run with Valvoline Advanced 0w20 and comes off a 2023 Blazer w/ 2.0L LSY engine after an ~4,000 mi OCI.

It look fantastic! The crimped seam I wish was a little closer together but still better than what First Brands/M+H can put together.

I just received one of these from rock auto for my 3.0. I been waiting for a xl version also and figured they would have one since you can get them already in rebrands. Thanks for the C&P.

Yeah, I really wish they would come out with one. I was hoping they would email me bike. They even make the newest extended performance version for CQ. Yet, they still don't have an XL for their own filters.
