NAPA GOLD #100290 CUT OPEN

This was off a friend of mother and stepfathers 2019 Chevy Equinox AWD. Had this filter and unknown oil( no oil change sticker on windshield). 5,065 miles on oil and filter. Put a Fram ultra on and some M1 AFE 0w20 in and on. 51,233 miles on odometer also.

Looks like a high quality filter. Like the metal crimp on the filter pleats...metal end caps, metal core. Drain back valve looks good too. I’ve cut a few of these open myself, always impressed with these.

Louvers look good. Looks like a suitable pf64 replacement.

Pretty sketchy newer Puro made. The 2 pics of baseplate; one is actual baseplate, 2nd is the secondary metal plate that fell of main baseplate. Garbage

No, what pi&$@ed me off was the plate under baseplate just fell off when I cut thru filter. I was shocked that happened. Media looks good so can’t whine too much

Just have to wait for the spring fleet filter sale, Golds will be under $5 each... it's coming...
