Sadly they are actually made is china.

It depends on the number. The last few were in fact U.S. made.
 
The above is something I have tried to point out in many threads about pads. Even though they have the same name most are application specific.

Extremely different from platform to platform.
 
I just installed a set of Adaptive One pads. Made in USA. I've only driven a little this afternoon, but so far the pads have good feel, and a little less initial bite than what I replaced. I expect them to get better as time goes by, and they bed in some.
