Great thread. A big problem for lots of people with manual transmissions that require Dex III and not Dex VI, myself included.
Name some "high-end" ATFs for a Dexron III app!

IMO, if you want the best DEXIII then it's Transynd or other approved equivalent. It's a grp iv fluid as well. And here are the only approved Transynd/equivalent fluids: http://www.allisontransmission.com/service/autoapp/172/viewpage.jsp?ThisPage=3&

I haven't had experience with Royal Purple's universal ATF product yet, but it should be higher-end quality though compared to the others I don't know where it would rank on my 'list' of favs?
