I've done mid cycle OCI on my current N63TU3. Was going to stretch the factory scheduled to October-November, but I just had it done....

All in all, my mid cycle OCI had like 3000 miles on it .
Mainly as I got too annoyed as the -NAG- screen on the cluster was something that needed to be pressed every time.....due to OCI on the cluster nag.
I think I'm going to skip the next 2 mid cycle OCI depending on how many miles I'm running on the oil and just keep the OCI on the factory service.

Dare I. I know she run's hot. Cost of mid cycle OCI for me is nothing...time spent, maybe.
Just seemed like it a slight waste dumping 10 qts with 3.5K miles on it

Personally with the N63 I would be worried about the various coolant lines around the turbos.

Are you doing 10k miles/yr?

With that engine, I would only stretch OCIs if you are driving mainly on the freeway at speed. Got any pics of that ride? Does your N63 have the metal braided turbo coolant lines?

I'm with you on skipping the next two mid-cycle OCI's, especially since the cost isn't a concern for you. It does seem like a waste to dump 10 qts with only 3.5K miles on it.

Coolant lines were updated during production of the N63TU2 late 2018. They switched to stainless steel braided lines with metal fittings from the plain rubber ones with hose clamps. Seems to have resolved the leaking issues. My 2018 N63TU2 was updated in 2019 under the new car warranty. Unfortunately it was not a recall, so if it was not done under warranty, it is customer pay now. But only affects the 2018s.

N63TU3 have the ss braided coolant lines. That started with late production of the N63TU2. Many of the TU2 have been upgraded while under warranty, or have been done by owners out of warranty.

You are probably on the same forums I am and seeing reports on higher mileage N63TU2 and TU3. Most reports of 75k to 90k miles are doing OCI of around 5k to 6k and not hearing of major issues. I recall a couple users just following the oil life monitor too.

I really haven't seen any consistent engine issues with the TU2 or TU3. Just the occasional coolant expansion tank failure or smaller hose connector that attaches to the expansion tank failing (on the hose side).
