N55 Jobber Filter. Oil: HPL Euro C3 5w30

Filter cap gasket from last summer failed and thankfully I had a spare in the garage. Filter was pulled yesterday afternoon and left sitting on paper towels.

Some curly metal shavings which I placed together. Very few signs of carbon-like deposits within the media. The media is about 3 feet long. Hopefully I'll get a UOA in June.

Just turned 70k miles and the engine runs fine. Perhaps I'll take a look once the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced.

I don't know but agree it's probably aluminum. No glitter in the filter or in the bottom of the filter housing.

Probably got bent going through the oil pump.

Lesser of 1yr or 10k miles. The last couple were time based being that I've put 15k miles on the car beginning Q1 2020.
