I love Leadville and Co.
The wife and I were at the Florissant Fossil Beds during a Solar Eclipse. One of the female Ranger's lent us her welding helmet to view it.

We usually go from East to West, then have lunch at a hole in the wall pizza place in Leadville. So we start just off 285 south of Fairplay.
Where I took that picture is actually just off the official pass road on an access road for those power lines you see to the left of the picture.

Yes, yes they are...with OEM JEEP rubber on them.
