I like using TC-W3 with my fuel. Also have got my father using it in the older 70's JD tractors and other OPE.

I bought a 6-pack of these 8oz bottles from AutoGeek.com and used 1oz measuring cups to fill the bottles up, then marked at each OZ -- my measurements might not be 100% accurate but IMO close enough. First couple I filled with ST TC-W3 then this time around I bought a gallon of Evinrude Mineral TC-W3. While they both come out to about $.15 per oz, the Evinrude is worth it since the same pop top from the bottles fits the gallon and makes is easier to fill the bottles.

The tops seal tight, but I wouldn't recommend putting them on their side. I keep about 5 bottles in a cardboard box in my trunk. When dispensing, after fuel up, I pop the top and squeeze the amount I need into the tank. Tip to a spill-free and no-mess dispensing is to un-squeeze the bottle when finished so the bottle sucks air back in which will in turn suck any oil in or at the end of the nozzle back in. Turn it right side up and you'll have no mess. Make sense? Or did I just start rambling?

...Off to eat ham dinner at the in-laws, have a nice Sunday.

You're probably using a high ratio in your Cummins, right?

The OPE I'm referring to is all 4 stroke, so on that equipment, and the cars, I'm aiming for 500:1 or 1oz per 5 gallons.

Have you tried using the smaller Evinrude/Johnson bottles (1-pint)?

Has ounce markings -- just buy once, then refill with the more economical gallon size.

I usually do 1:640 to 1:1000

1:500 is actually 1oz/4gallons.
and abit high for anything modern.
ok for OPE ..probably.

you should also consider adding it before fueling so the gas can mix it up better.

note: I'm referring to gasoline use.
Not use in diesel fuel or 2 cycle.

I use an empty quart. Fill it half full with tc-w3,the other half with xylene and add the whole thing to my 19 gallon tank at every fill up.
The quart bottle makes it easy as in if I'm only putting a half tank in I use half the pre-mix quart bottle.
Then mmo in my inverse oiler.
Done deal.

Lucas 5 oz. UCL empty bottle is great for gas tanks less than 20 gal For larger I use empty Techron bottles and make a desposable funnel out of paper .

I have posted this before - great gas / oil ratio calculator -> http://www.csgnetwork.com/oilfuelcalc.html

TCW3 is best to use from 640:1 ~ 960:1 gas to oil ratio .
* For those who like MMO the ratio is 320:1 ~ 420:1 for best results . I will also add MMO is more tolerant of a slight over dose in gas to oil ratio while TCW3 is less tolerant of over dose in gas to oil ratio .

Its funny you say that.
I noticed a serious increase in fuel consumption when I accidentally overdosed my fuel. I ended up putting a litre of tc-w3 into 19 gallons(approx 75 litres or so) and I couldn't get 20mpg and the car was painfully sluggish and not fun to drive.
I burned off 1/2 a tank as fast as I could holding it in gear and giving it lots of pedal.
I filled up once I hit half a tank and added nothing. Immediately my mpg display climbed to 27mpg on my way home.
So less is more with tc-w3 of that I am convinced.

Those are the same (Meguiars branded) liquid wax dispenser bottles on sale at Pep Boyz for $1.39 each.
At least that is the same cap as the Peppie's ones, since the one their seem to be much more than an 8 ounce capacity.

I just use those little 4 ounce airline reg compliant squeeze bottles sold at Harmons or such.

I put 3 ounces of TCW-3 to one ounce of RL SI-1 in each bottle and shake well.
Add right before a fill up.

Another choice is the 1 pint bottles of MMO. They have a long neck to reach the gas filler plate, graduations along the side, a screw-on lid that seals reasonably well. The pints are about $2 at Menards.

The big Stabil bottles would be ideal but nobody sells an empty one and the filled one are too expensive and will take a while before becoming empty.

If you save the pointed caps that come off of gear oil bottles, you can get the pint bottles of tcw3 and it makes life at the pump easy...

For a few weeks I added 2oz per 5gallon in my truck, it made life easy since I only put 5gallons in encse the truck didn't like it.

I take the transparent fuel system bottles such as Regane or Redline and then mark them in oz increment using magic marker. It is still sort of pain to refill them and then dispense the correct amount after filling the tank.

Post a picture!

Don't know how.

I like those bottles, OP!

Arts and crafts stores used to sell similar dispensing bottles but they all seem to have stopped carrying them.

For storage, I like using plastic coffee cans, like the big folders and maxwell house ones, which I take from work after the coffee has been used.
