It's unfortunate to hear that you had a bad experience. I've always considered Chick-fil-a employees to be a couple cuts above the typical fast food employee, and they always get our order right. It's my understanding that whenever a new Chick-fil-a opens, the restaurant is ran through a trial period with the new employees, to work out all the bugs and make sure the employees are well trained. Your experience doesn't sound like that happened.

Yea thing is wife and I and dorgs had fun. Great day actually. Picnic at the park. 70°F and perfect sunny day. I’m not even caring about the dollars.

We said we will do the picnic again but get some grub at hippie co-op

It would appear you haven't been a restaurant lately. You're lucky for party of two to get out for under a hundred and twenty five dollars here in Washington. YMMV

Their original chicken sandwiches taste soooooo salty compared to about 5 years ago.

I was not a fan of their chicken sandwiches, even the spicy chicken. I finally tried their salads and love them. They have a great cobb salad, and an even better southwest chicken salad. I like both with the default dressing. the cobb has a nice avocado (greenish) dressing that goes very well with it.

Oh, you must be eating at the place right now. I like the Spicy Chicken sandwich. They used to have the spicy nuggets, no longer.

The food here is 1000X better than what it used to me.

Last Wednesday evening had Ivar’s halibut fish and chips near the UW Seattle campus. It was very good, but it is very hard to get quality quick serve anything, especially fresh battered fish.

You mentioned in Bellingham the outstanding fish and chips. Concluded you have some quality food choices in Bellingham.

Well if it's a new location then all the employees are new as well. I would expect not perfect food for a while until everyone gets in the groove of things.

Never go to a new restaurant of any kind for at least a month after they opened.

The original chicken sandwich as originally made by there founder was awesome. Unfortunately they changed it during the pandemic for some reason. I never went often but haven't been back.

The original in Atlanta was a sit down restaurant. The one in Newnan GA was still sit down at breakfast - they had a full breakfast spread not the fast food menu. Don't know if it still is, haven't been in likely 10 years. I guess I will need to check it out next time I am in Atlanta.

If you go back get some Jalapeno Salsa. Its pretty good actually.

I like their standard Chick Filet sandwich, it's pretty good imo. Otoh, the grilled chicken sandwich, fuhgeddaboudit, dry and tasteless. The dipping sauces are good, like the honey mustard. What I've noticed, employees are very courteous and place always seems busy, and I think to myself the place is a license to print money.

Around here they hire all the high school kids - but only if there on the honor role.

With the exception of my guilty pleasure of the absolutely "meh" pizza buffet that I walk to from work a couple times a month, I don't eat fast food anymore.

I went there at 10:10 am for breakfast. They told I was too late. Breakfast ended at 10:00am. Went back once and wasn't impressed.
