Good list. Agree with most of it. My opinion on Pennzoil - The used oil analysis don't lie, agree with wear. The dispute is over cleanliness. I feel this falls under your Castrol comments, mostly marketing. There simply is no proof other than website claims and my own results. Using PP and M1 there is no difference in cleaning power. Mobil 1 High Mileage is far better than both for cleaning. Trying PU shortly. The other reason I suspect marketing is Pennzoil's history. For decades cleanliness was the issue with Pennzoil. A perception any marketer wants to change.

fyi, I did this just for fun. I realize there is no "best" oil. My list is just based on my opinion and how I think each of these products perform overall. They are all very good.

They don't sell Schaeffer's at Walmart or any of the major auto parts stores. The closest dealer to me is almost 100 miles away. Shipping the product is expensive, and I don't think Schaeffer's oil sells direct in small quantities. I plan on buying some of their grease of ebay the next time I need some, which is not too soon.

P.S. They also don't have FAR deals.
