My side mirrors look distorted, is there are fix for this?

Are the originals real glass or did they try to use plastic?

The more I look at it, the more it appears to be plastic----but I'm not sure.

On the drivers side mirror my 2016 Accord has this split view mirror... I don’t care for it nor do I understand the purpose?

Isn’t the norm now plastic? I think they use a heavy duty version of Mylar for the reflection part.

if the mirror is adjusted correctly for the person driving, you get a wider field of view. Vehicles that are in the next lane juat about the height of your rear bumper are not inside the field of view of a regular mirror, or if they are you cant see the sides of your own car. They are also not visible by looking out of your window or from the center rear view mirror. Could be an expensive lane change...
